i like the picture and i (almost) like the girl. Some small things though that will keep me from giving you a 7/7 and instead a 5/7 which i don't particularly *connect* with.

• her tits (can i say that here... dunno... just look aay if it offends you ) are way too pointy. come on, go to http://images.google.com and do your stuff i know i know, i love manga/anime and i know they have some lusciously, extremely large, round, bit pointy -- sorry got carried away -- stuff but this is a bit over. just smooth them out, they'll be nicer too hehe
• compare her torso with her face. her face is beautiful, smooth, lovely... her torso seems one of two things: either she's eaten nothing for the past 3 months or she's been all day to the gym for the past 10 years. any of the two do not seem fit on a girl with that face and therefore i think the torso (even though it should remain a bit muscular so as to avoid the bimbo cliche`) should be a bit smoother.
• about the mecha. now i love mechas as much as i love anime girls. one thing i can tell you. That bot's "feet" are too small to support that size. make the "toes" a bit larger or else it won't look good when it's rushing into battle and suddenly it meets a rock which throws it off-balance (*insert tear drop scene here*). [EDIT: maybe they're not THAT small, but his right foot seems a bit smaller than the left... and not just because of perspective] also the gun could be a bit larger. this is anime... make it BIG! make it EXTREME!

Other than those, picky picky things that need to be adjusted, the image is great. how about a background now...

Yep, I'll second just about everything that Manti said.

I will add that you've done a great job with the colors. The mecha's metal hide looks like powder-coated steel to me--very nice indeed. The clothing looks very plastic, but that could be a look you were going for.

very masumurio shirow(sp?) i think mech wise and femmie since the skin tight suit and she carries the look of all masu women.
